Neuroscience
The Neuroscience subprogram examines the organization and function of the nervous system at all levels, from molecular, cellular, systems and behavioral perspectives. Areas of research include molecular genetics of development, neurotransmitters and signal transduction, learning, neuroethology, neuroanatomy and neurophysiology of sensory and motor systems, oculomotor control, neuroendocrine systems, and neurobiology of brain disorders.
Faculty include members of the staff of the Institute for Basic Research in Developmental Disabilities.
